To save time on your return, ask about our Pre-Paid fuel Option. </LI> <LI>Check and sign your Rental Agreement. </LI> <LI>If you need maps or have questions about interesting sight-seeing, ask our staff. </LI> <LI>Ask the staff to give you basic information about the fuel tank, spare tires etc. </LI> <LI>Check the car for any existing damage and sign to confirm this. This helps us assess whether any damage occurs during your rental. </LI> <LI>You will then be given the keys together with a copy of the Rental Agreement - and away you go! </LI></UL> <DIV class=heading-2-flush><B>On the road</B><BR><IMG id=heading-break height=1 src="http://www.avis.co.uk/avisonline/gb/avis.nsf/dotted_line_2columns_372.gif" width=372></STRONG></DIV> <P></P> <UL> <LI>Call 591 4000 for breakdown vehicles or emergency service</LI> <LI>Call 112 on your mobile telephone for any accident assistance required.</LI></UL> <P> </P> <DIV class=heading-2-flush><B>Returning your car</B><BR><IMG id=heading-break height=1 src="http://www.avis.co.uk/avisonline/gb/avis.nsf/dotted_line_2columns_372.gif" width=372></DIV><BR>There are a few things to remember when returning your rental car <DIV class=heading-2-flush> </DIV> <UL> <LI>It must be returned at the agreed time, or additional rental chargesmay be incurred.</LI> <LI>Check with your Avis location in advance if you need to return the car outside office hours, or extend your rental.</LI> <LI>Return your keys to the Avis desk and have your completed rental documents handy.</LI> <LI>The fuel will be checked and a refuelling charge will apply unless you re-filled the tank yourself, or purchased the Pre-Paid Fuel Option.</LI> <LI>The vehicle will be checked for damage.></LI> <LI>Finally, payment will be made, subject to a final audit. If you are using a company account, an invoice will be issued to your company. </LI> <LI>If the car is returned outside of office hours you can put the key in our mailbox and your invoice will be sent to you.<BR><BR></LI></UL> <DIV class=heading-2-flush><BR> </DIV> <DIV class=heading-2-flush><B>Mileage</B><BR><IMG id=heading-break height=1 src="http://www.avis.co.uk/avisonline/gb/avis.nsf/dotted_line_2columns_372.gif" width=372></DIV> <P><BR>The majority of rental rates offer free unlimited mileage. However, some Avis rates will include a limit of free mileage and charge for any additional mileage made thereafter. Payment will be made, including any additional services and charges incurred, subject to a final audit, and a remittance advice will be issued.
